In these weekend retreats, Susannah will lead writers through a series of prompts and questions in order to break through story blocks and inspire new pathways. By delving further into the web of connections between characters, new possibilities can emerge and actions heretofore unimagined become clear. Participants will be asked to send a brief synopsis of their story-in-progress to discuss in a one-to-one meeting with Susannah, as well as in two group sessions. Between these scheduled events, the time to write and push on with your story is yours!
Susannah Waters works as a freelance editor for many best-selling and debut novelists in both the commercial and literary genres. She was a tutor on the Creative Writing Programme at New Writing South and has also taught for the Arvon Foundation and The Literary Consultancy.
